About the Artwork
In Eva, a pair of legs emerges from a metallic sieve suspended by a cord, echoing its companion piece Adán. The work plays with biblical archetypes while fragmenting and reinterpreting them through irony. By presenting Eve as both incomplete and objectified, Vizcaíno highlights themes of origin, fragility, and the contradictions of gender and creation myths.
