About the Artwork
In Escritura abstracta, Blas intertwines color, geometry, and symbolism to evoke the rhythm of an encrypted language. The work radiates with vibrant reds, yellows, and turquoise, forming a composition that resembles both a face and a codex, as if ancestral memory were hidden in its lines. The sharp contours and layered textures simulate fragments of a text yet to be deciphered, reminding the viewer that art itself can function as a universal language of identity, resistance, and expression. This piece underscores the artist’s capacity to transform the canvas into a space where words and images dissolve into pure energy.
